Sound

The key to the sound of the game is realism. The lack of radar will encourage players to use other methods to find their opponents. One of the most notable of these is sound. Players can hear footsteps, fighting, even breathing if they are close enough. The best way to locate your enemies is to track them through the woods, using a combination of sight and the sounds that they make. The crunch of a booted foot in brush, the whisper of a leather sandal on stone. There will be no "mickey-mousing" or zany sounds like in many other MMOs such as World of Warcraft (World of Warcraft, 2004). Epic musical scores will be provided, but can be turned off with a simple key click in the heat of tracking another player.
